This year, in partnership with A Dinner for Scott (via the Scott Richardson Memorial Trust), we gathered with New Zealand’s hospitality community in Southland, bringing chefs, students and makers together for the love of food, craft and connection.
The dinner supports scholarships that enable young chefs and hospitality enthusiasts to go overseas, learn from the best, then bring that experience back to NZ. The cause fosters mentorship, global exposure and giving back.
A notable spotlight on one of the chefs who featured in A Dinner for Scott this year: TALA, led by Samoan‑born chef Henry Onesemo, was awarded the 2024 New Restaurant of the Year at the Cuisine Good Food Awards is an example of fresh talent and culture driving hospitality forward.
