The BIRKENSTOCK Zermatt is our first slipper with a removable footbed, allowing you to choose between two different insoles. You can choose from the Super Birki Footbed and the Profi Birki Footbed, these insoles can be ordered separately. Perfect for all year round! This basic version of this design features our Shearling Footbed. It comes with a snug shearling lining to keep your feet cozy when the temperatures drop. The upper is made from soft wool felt.
Our model (f) wears the narrow width. Our model (m) wears the regular width.

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

Wool felt absorbs moisture, enables a pleasant level of air circulation around the foot and also forms an excellent heat cushion.

Shearling is high-quality, soft sheep- or lambskin. The material is warm, breathable and has temperature-regulating properties.

Because of its high elasticity rubber is very well suited for outsoles. Thanks to this property it supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. Rubber is also very robust and has good cushioning.
