COVID-19 DELIVERY DELAYS
Due to COVID-19 safe working procedures, parcels may take 2-3 business days to be dispatched.
Some delays have been occurring with our couriers CourierPost - these have been around 1 - 3 Business Days longer than usual delivery times.
Orders over $100 are freight free. All other orders will be shipped at a flat rate of $5.00. We deliver only to New Zealand addresses, where someone can sign for the orders. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
Delivering your order to you in a fast and efficient manner is important to us. Most orders are processed and collected by the courier the same day of business from our NZ Distribution Centre. Please allow 1-2 business days for delivery. If you have ordered an item(s) that is out-of-stock or sold-out, then we will advise you as soon as possible. Rural and some residential areas may require an additional day(s) for delivery. Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.
Please supply a physical delivery address where someone will be present to receive the delivery. A signature is required for the delivery, items cannot be left. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday.
When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirmation with tracking number. You can track your order by going to the CourierPost website: www.courierpost.co.nz
Once an order has been placed you may not cancel the order as goods are often packaged and shipped the same day. Please select carefully before placing an order.
We understand that buying footwear online can be tricky. If trying on your purchase at home, please try on a carpet. We are unable to accept returned orders if the items have been worn, damaged or marked in any way.
If you are not fully satisfied, you may within 30 days, return your footwear for a full refund. Excludes items purchased on sale and on special offers.
Alternatively, you can exchange your footwear. You will need to pay to return your item; we will pay to deliver your replacement; any payment adjustments will be made.
We cannot refund or exchange Birkenstock shoes purchased overseas. We are the New Zealand distributors of Birkenstock only and operate as a company separate from other suppliers and retailers internationally. If you wish to return purchases you will need to contact the original retailer. Unfortunately, we do not have the control over the policies of retailers internationally so are unable to influence their decisions.
To return your order, please follow below instructions on packing and sending. These instructions must be followed for us to process your return.
- Enclose your purchase receipt and the Return Form. We are unable to process a return without proof of purchase.
- Ensure the item is in its original condition including the shoe box. If the footwear is returned without the original box or the original box is damaged, a re-boxing fee of $8.00 is charged.
- Pack the item carefully so the product and the original box do not get damaged in transit.
- Please use a traceable courier.
